At CeresMED, we believe in clean, sustainably cultivated cannabis. Our gardens are managed by degreed horticulturalists and farmers who have made careers in agriculture. We grow indoors for year-round production and consistency, using a hydroponic growing method. In the spring and summer month, we boost our production with greenhouse and outdoor crops. We utilize Integrated Pest Management and OMRI-Certified (Organic Materials Review Institute) products to prevent and eliminate pests and diseases. This combination of sustainable methods keeps everyone safe: gardeners, consumers and the environment.
Availability of each cultivar varies based on our cultivation schedule, supply and demand. Please speak with a customer service agent or visit our online store to learn what currently is in stock at each of our dispensary locations.
Individual responses to cannabis cultivars and methods of consumption vary. Currently, no scientific consensus exists that indicates any one cannabis cultivar is more effective than another for relieving specific symptoms or conditions. Each patient must determine, through their own use of cannabis, which cultivars and products are most effective for their symptom relief.
We have created a system of categorization based on the “need states” of Relax, Restore and Revitalize in order to help our registered patients navigate their cultivar choices. The categories are defined using four key criteria: Genetics, Cannabinoid Content, Terpene Content and Therapeutic Effect as reported by our registered patients.
Cultivars in this category contain indica-leaning genetics and terpene profiles that generally create a more calming and sedative experience. Our patients report that these relaxing effects are felt both physiologically and psychologically. These cultivars are often chosen to relieve nighttime symptoms to encourage restful sleep.
Cultivars in this category contain balanced ratios of CBD to ∆9-THC. Research suggests that these ratios may increase the analgesic effect of ∆9-THC, particularly in relationship to neuropathic pain. Scientific evidence has also shown CBD to have neuro-protective properties which can reduce the intoxicating effect of ∆9-THC. Our patients report that these cultivars provide symptom relief without the feeling of being high. They can be appropriate for daytime or nighttime use depending on the person and the context. The genetics (indica vs sativa) and terpene profile of each cultivar will influence whether the overall experience will be more calming or stimulating.
Cultivars in this category contain sativa-leaning genetics and terpene profiles that generally create a more stimulating and mood-enhancing experience. Our patients report that these relaxing effects are felt both physiologically and psychologically. These cultivars are often chosen to relieve daytime symptoms in order to boost productivity and alertness.
