Herb Compound CannaButter

Compound butter is butter that’s been creamed together with other ingredients, like herbs, spices, oil, honey etc. Adding ingredients to regular butter improves texture and increases flavor. Spread on bread or add to a favorite chicken, vegetable, meat or fish recipe.


1 stick of CVD Cannabutter (8 tablespoons) – room temperature
1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
1 teaspoon thyme leaves, chopped
1 teaspoon garlic, minced
Kosher salt to taste
Freshly cracked black pepper to taste


Be sure your Cannabutter is at room temperature, so that the herbs, garlic, salt,and pepper will incorporate easier.  Add all the ingredients to a large glass or steel mixing bowl. Using an electric hand mixer, beat all the ingredients until well incorporated and fluffy. If you do not have an electric hand mixer, you can do this by hand using a strong spoon; it will just take a bit more work.

Place a medium-size piece of plastic wrap onto a clean, flat surface. Spoon the butter mixture onto the center of the plastic wrap. Form the wrap around the butter, rolling and creating a log shape. Twist the ends of the plastic wrap, and place the butter in the fridge to set.

Keep it in the fridge or freezer, and slice as you need.

Dosage Information:

CVD Cannabutter = 160mg THC
8 equal slices = 20mg THC per serving
24 equal parts = 6.6 mg THC per serving
