Here at CeresMED, we make sure our employees feel empowered to make a difference – in the world, and right within the workplace walls. We have a team that coordinates company-wide volunteer efforts in the community, a team that meets regularly to recommend and prioritize site safety improvements, and an outreach/education team that works with health care professionals to provide information on the Vermont Marijuana Registry and cannabinoid therapeutics.
It’s not all work, work, work, though. We have bi-annual, company wide all-day retreats where we update each other on business happenings, enjoy participatory learning, and do fun things like skiing, snowboarding, hiking, biking, yoga, volleyball…you name it! You’ll find dispensary job opportunities at our headquarters and growing facility in Milton, Vermont, and at our dispensary locations in downtown Burlington, South Burlington, Middlebury and Brattleboro. New employees attend an orientation program, and begin on-the-job training with their manager and teams right away.
Cannabis is a new and budding industry (see what we did there?) and there is a lot to take in – but don’t worry, we’re the experts, and we’ll guide you through the learning curve of your new position and help educate you on everything cannabis. And hey, we’re still learning, too – new science happens in this field every day. To say that this is an exciting industry to be in is an understatement.
The War on Drugs has been a colossal failure, has disproportionately impacted communities of color, and has been another devastating tool of systemic racism.
